June Calendar

Wednesdays: New Wineskin Prayer
Join us on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary from 12 - 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. as we gather and pray for the hearts of Maple Ridge to be renewed. Come and be blessed as we pray for God to move in the life of Maple Ridgers, our leadership, and those involved in different ongoing ministries.

June 5th: Men & Women's Summer Study
Join us beginning Thursday, June 5th for a six-week DVD summer study on the book If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg. This study will help you answer Christ's call to greater faith, power-filled deeds, and
a new way of knowing Him. We will join in the Fellowship Hall together from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and childcare is provided for infants through fifth grader. Cost is $10.00 for the participants guide. Sign up at the Welcome Center. Contact the Church Office with more questions.

June 14th: Men's Breakfast & Golf Outing
Men, plan to join us for a men's breakfast from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Christos Restaurant in West Lafayette. This will be a time to build relationships with other men, hear our life stories and to encourage each other in our common goals as Christian men. Feel free to bring along another friend. We will then head out for a round of golf. See you there!

June 7th-14th: Jr. High Missions Trip
The Junior High youth group will be going to Harlan County, in southeast Kentucky for a week in June on a short-term missions trip. The youth will spread the Good News of Jesus through vacation Bible school, neighborhood evangelism, prayer walks, sports outreach, and service and construction projects.

June 21st-27th: Sr. High Missions Trip
The Senior High youth group will be flying to Matamoros, Mexico for a week later in June to help families in this border town community who are poor materially and spiritually. Their days will be divided between construction projects, sports outreach and evangelism, prayer, and children's ministries in local orphanages. Both youth mission trips this summer are in partnership with Adventures In Missions, a ministry specialized in facilitating youth trips.
