To be a community
of believers mobilized to advance Christ's kingdom cross-culturally,
by proclaiming the Truth, demonstrating Jesus' love and power,
interceding for His purposes, evangelizing the unsaved, building
disciples, and planting and establishing self-supporting indigenous
churches.

Missions is the cross-cultural
ministry of the church for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom.
Cross-cultural ministry includes evangelizing, discipling, planting
churches, and aiding in growth and development both overseas
and in U.S. subcultures which are distinct from our own. Additionally
it includes the equipping, sending, and supporting of workers
engaged in this ministry.

As part of the Christian
& Missionary Alliance we have a distinct call and anointing
to be engaged in the work of world evangelization. The founder
of the Alliance, A. B. Simpson, expressed well the passion and
commitment we are to have as believers for Jesus Christ and
the expansion of His Church world-wide in an article titled,
The Kind of Missionaries We Want. We desire that
these same characteristics would be true of our churches and
missionaries today.
