How did you hear about the Gathering?
This is the beginning of renewal and
revival - if we remain obedient to the Lord. I believe this did more to unify us than National Council ever did. Maybe, it would be good for new participants (repeat, initial exposure for those who hear of it and 'missed' this one) This is a journey - a process - a war (not just a battle). There will be continued need for healing the wounded. More opportunity needs to be given for more people to a) hear what we bear, and b). have opportunity to respond to the Holy Spirit. We need to reclaim our roots and move forward into all that God has in store. This is something all of God's people need. Yes, to do the very thing the title says. A fire needs to burn openly. Yes, spread the word to all to join. Those who have no or little background need the information and possibility that God longs to give us more, real Jesus. Expose others, keep the flame aglow. I think it should be a matter for much prayer. If God wants it - do it! Call to repentance, seeking Christ, time apart for prayer. Yes, because the work has just begun. The word needs to be spread and renewal is an ongoing work. Definitely, to bring many, many others along. I think this emphasis needs to reach more of our Alliance constituency. I believe like a good fire this should spread. I believe the work has only begun. Yes, because this is dealing with the
heart of our problems in the Alliance. Yes to further promote a rekindling of the flame. Yes, we need more teaching on how all this works in the local church. It is important for the future of the
C&MA. Yes, we need to build on this "gathering." Revivals seem to build on sessions. Yes, many are unaware or unable to attend
and would want the chance. Yes, next year! To continue what has begun. Every fire needs fresh fuel; we must fire up our people or their hearts will grow cold I fear. Our Alliance leaders need revival in their hearts and ministry and our churches need to be revisited by the Spirit of God. I would like to see more Alliance people
experience it. The work is not finished. We must press on. It's only begun. Yes, to equip the saints. Yes, we want more people in the Alliance to come and catch the flame and see the need for revival and return to the first works of the Alliance. We need the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in experience and teaching in our churches. Yes, we have had part one, now to part two. It's a shame that a good thing has to come to an end. We always need opportunity for personal and corporate growth/renewal/revival… Yes, the fire of the Holy Spirit must fall to point us to Jesus and His service. 1) The challenge and the teaching is
needed; 2) Our pastors need fed by Alliance conferences that
are powerful, challenging, meat to feed; and Yes, we have so many people sitting in Alliance churches who don't know what we are about which is a source of conflict in the church. Yes, especially in Canada, to inform and I believe God desires this to release His blessing.
